Name Popularity May Help Richardson Win the Presidency

From MotherPie:
William has been in the top 20 most popular names for over 30 years. Bill, however, fell out of the top 1,000 names in 1993. So William Jefferson (Bill) Clinton was a good bet back when and perhaps New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson might have a chance (if he uses his formal name more? as in William Blaine Richardson?)... William ranked #8 in 2004.

But if you were to base presidential election predictions on name popularity, New Mexico's William Blaine Richardson might have a chance.
That's right, a little name ID never hurt a candidate.
