Here's more on Governor Richardson's chances now that Mark Warner is out of the race, courtesy of the Bill Richardson Blog:
However, it’s hard not to see that this creates opportunities for our own favorite red-state consensus-building widely-loved Guv. After Warner, there will be a lot of people asking “well, who, then?” Look at the things that made Warner appealing: he was popular in a state that had voted for Bush. He had helped Tim Kaine get elected. He was from a region of the country that isn’t the Northeast. He had executive experience (both as governor and in business). Does this remind you of anyone you know?
That someone is Bill Richardson.
